Elvish Riddles - Gift-Giving Scavanger Hunt

Have a gift planned for someone who loves Elvish? This SCAVENGER HUNT can be a great way to turn any gifting occasion into a fun Elvish activity for the recipient!

(Please note: "GIFT" not included. This is an activity to FIND whatever gift you'll hide for the recipient at the end of the riddle-based hunt. All "Elvish" is English written in the General Use Orthographic Mode of the Tengwar Alphabet.)

STEP 1: After receiving this order, as the HELPER, you'll follow the instructions on the included guide page. This will help you hide each of the riddles and your final gift (not included) around your home.

STEP 2: The recipient is gifted the "Opener", which can be decoded to reveal that they're on a scavenger hunt for their gift. Along with the Opener, they'll get the first of SIX riddles. If they don't know how to read Tengwar, the Notes/Guide page includes a QR-code leading to guides and cheat sheets they can utilize.

STEP 3: Decode the Riddles! Each answer will lead to the location of the next riddle. There are six riddles in total, and the answer to the final riddle will be the location where the gift (not included) can be hidden by the HELPER ahead of time.

I've created TWO distinctly different Scavenger Hunt activities. They are both available on this listing. PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY from the menu to ensure you choose the appropriate one for your gift recipient:

1.  NICE HUNT - This hunt includes six riddles that are suitable for all ages. Each riddle location is associated with a common household item.

2.  NAUGHTY HUNT - This hunt includes six riddles that are ADULT oriented, involving innuendo-laden rhymes suitable for those of age 18+. Each riddle location is still associated with a common household item.

These were originally created as a Holiday activity for the Elvish Letter Fellowship Club (ELF-Club) in December 2024. The activities, however, are perfectly suitable for ANY gift giving scenario throughout the year!
