Join the Elvish Letter Fellowship Club!

Ever wanted to receive letters written in Elvish that you could then decode? Welcome to the Elvish Letter Fellowship Club (ELF-Club), where I write letters each month in Elvish Calligraphy and mail them anywhere in the world! This is by far the most enjoyable way to learn the Elvish Alphabet, and every month's letter will be a new chance to test your knowledge and learn some lore!

What Happens

I write a letter each month in the Elvish Alphabet. This letter is then reproduced on high quality paper for everyone on the mailing list and mailed directly to you. Guides on decoding the script will be available via QR code on an instructions/notes page included with each letter. You can then decode things at your own pace.

Letters are written from the perspectives of various fictional characters and may contain obscure references to other people, places, or events. While the characters may be familiar, the content in each letter will be original, with perhaps a couple fun memes or references tossed in to make you laugh. These are NOT meant to be taken too seriously. I'm not sticking strictly to existing lore, though I'll reference it whenever possible. I want everyone to feel rewarded when they put in all that effort, and that means making some of this content silly!

I write each letter by hand with a Magna Carta MAG-600 flex-nib fountain pen using Diamine Registrar's blue-black (iron gall) ink, which is incredibly water-resistant and hard to smear once dry. The original is inked on extra smooth, hot-pressed watercolor paper. Due to the volume of people receiving letters, high-quality copies are then made on thick, parchment-style paper and mailed out.

The original inked copy of each monthly letter is also randomly sent out to one lucky person signed up for the service each month! Every person receiving a letter via subscription or membership is automatically entered into that drawing, so you never know when you're going to be the lucky winner!

Where To Sign Up & How Much

1. ELF-Club MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION -- PATREON -- $20/month

This is the option for anyone who would like a monthly letter but needs the freedom of financial flexibility from month to month. As a SEQUOIAS-Tier Patreon member, you are billed monthly. You can downgrade to a different tier on Patreon or discontinue entirely whenever you like. Subscribers have a chance to receive the original inked copy of the month's letter (1 winner per month, chosen at random).

Single Letter -- $25 -- Buy from Store (starting OCT 1st, 2024)
Get the Letter-of-the-Month at time of purchase OR a randomized one from previous months. These are printed when ordered, so you don't have a chance at the original inked copy here. It's immediate gratification, though, since it gets mailed out ASAP.

Double Letter -- $50 -- Buy from Store (starting NOV 1st, 2024)
Get "This Month + Last Month" letters at time of purchase OR two randomized letters from previous months. As the service continues, there will also be an option for "Letter + Reply" pairs between two given characters. Once available, those will be listed by character in the purchase options. Like the single letter, this order mails ASAP and doesn't give you a chance at the original inked copies.

Custom Letter -- $100-120 -- Buy from Store (Available NOW!)
A one-of-a-kind piece! You either tell me what to write (100 word limit, which equates to about a full page of calligraphy), or give me a character or situation prompt and let me get creative. You DO get the original inked copy here, since this is a custom commission and won't be used for the monthly subscriptions. It will be written on your choice of smooth white or stylized parchment paper. Get creative! It's all yours! (NOTE: These will sometimes go on sale when I have a lull in commissions. ^_~)

QUARTERLY ELF-Club Membership -- $74.76/year, billed immediately.
SPROUTS-Tier on Patreon. Pay once and forget about it. This membership receives four (4) letters, one per quarter in the calendar year. You also get Patreon Perks equivalent to the SEEDS-Tier for the entire year you're a member! This is a great way to get a few letters at a slight discount without the hassle of switching back and forth between Patreon tiers. You'll be automatically entered for your chance to receive the original inked copy for each given month that you receive a letter (4 months of the year).
